Seven Habits of Highly Successful Teens

As a teenager, trying to be successful in and out of the classroom can be easier said than done. From numerous class projects, to balancing a busy work schedule, finding a happy medium is a difficult task in and of itself. The teenage years are very important in a student’s development as they are filled with tough issues and life-changing decisions that will help shape his or her future. So as you go on your journey through high school and beyond, you need to make sure you learn the principles and abilities that will help you attain your goals and be successful in all your ventures, both in and out of class.

Sean Covey, author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, gives advice to teens that might need a little help or direction in navigating the problems they encounter in their day-to-day lives. Covey’s book has sold more than 2 million copies and is always willing to offer advice to those who have a direct impact on a teenager’s life.

“While it’s all well and good to tell kids how to live their lives, teens watch what you do more than they listen to what you say,” Covey said during an interview.

“So practice what you preach. Your example can be very influential.”
